Tribù Mood collection
Studio Segers drew Mood around one idea — a teak frame that barely shows, with the seat carried by hand-woven Tricord. It reads as light furniture, and it sits like something heavier.

Mood in one paragraph
The weave does the structural work here. Tricord is a flat yarn worked by hand across the frame, and because it is woven rather than upholstered, water runs straight through it. A summer storm in Charleston or an afternoon sprinkler will not leave you waiting for cushions to dry.
Teak is the other half. Left alone it weathers to a soft grey over a first season outdoors; oiled twice a year it holds the honey tone it arrives in. Neither choice affects how long the wood lasts, so this is a question of what you want to look at.
Mood covers a terrace on its own. Nine pieces run from a lounge bed through sofas and armchairs to bar and counter-height seating, which matters if your outdoor kitchen has a raised counter rather than a standard table.
The Tricord comes in a range of muted, nature-drawn shades. On a shaded terrace the darker tones hold their look longest; in full Arizona sun the lighter shades show dust less.

Build
How a Mood piece is layered
-
Hand-woven Tricord
Flat yarn worked across the frame by hand. Carries the load and drains in minutes.
-
Teak frame
Mortise-and-tenon joints in solid teak, no visible fixings on the seat face.
-
Quick-dry foam
Open-cell core that pushes water out instead of holding it.
-
Solution-dyed acrylic cover
Color goes through the fiber, so sun fades it slowly and evenly.
